Updated: Aug 18

Lucas DiPasquale (@lucasdipasquale) is a singer/songwriter from Toronto, ON. He began playing guitar at the age of 8 years old, and after a few years began signing and recording covers of his favourite artists to post on YouTube and Facebook. In 2014 while in university, he posted a mash up of a song by popular reggae artist Popcaan. The mash up quickly went viral and eventually got the attention of Popcaan himself who shared it on his Twitter page. Not long after Lucas was invited by Popcaan to perform in Jamaica at the Dream Weekend Music Festival. In the summer of 2015, Lucas released his first single “Do It Like” featuring Stylo G, Kardinal Offishall and Konshens off of his second EP “Post-Secondary”. This single quickly reached #1 on the Urban music Charts in the UK. His second single “No Talking” featured Popcaan; a full circle moment for him.
