Courtney Taylor (@courtneysamtaylor) is a singer/songwriter and musician from Markham, ON. She began writing songs at the age of 14 years old. In 2011 she graduated from The Remix Project - a government funded creative arts program, that’s geared towards providing resources and building platforms for disadvantaged young artists. She’s performed at various venues which include CBC Radio, The Hard Rock Cafe and The Rivoli. In 2018 she performed at Honey Jam and has also collaborated and performed with Canadian singers like Reina, Roddy Colmer and Jully Black. She draws her inspiration from artists such as Feist, Amy Winehouse, John Mayer and Lianne La Havas. Courtney is working towards recording her original music and hopes to release her own EP in the near future.
